Welcome to Eastwood Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a widely accepted and established treatment.  It is used for the

alleviation of many different issues from stopping smoking, weight control to improving self confidence and conquering phobias.  It is a state of deep mental and physical relaxation where old habits can be replaced with new ones.  Being hypnotised is a pleasant, enjoyable feeling which is similar to daydreaming or drifting off to sleep, yet we remain completely in control and aware of our environment at all times.

The source of this change is the subconscious mind, that part of us which

acts as our friend, guide, mentor, advisor and memory bank..

Sometimes the subconscious has a different agenda to the conscious mind

and this can result in conflict, e.g. wanting to make changes on a conscious level but constantly falling back into old habit patterns. Hypnotherapy can be used to regain unity of mind, release old unwanted habits and programme in new behaviour at a deep, subconscious level.  It is a very safe and soothing way of creating positive change.
